1. Book with your closest Aalto provider
The first step is to book an appointment with your closest Aalto provider. During your appointment, your provider will assess your smile and discuss whether clear aligner treatment is right for you.
2. Visit your dentist for a 3D scan
Your dentist completes a full clinical exam, X-rays, photos, and a 3D scan. This gives your specialist orthodontist everything they need to plan your treatment accurately.
3. Review your plan and check insurance
An Aalto specialist orthodontist works with your dentist to design your custom plan.
You'll see a visual preview of how your teeth will move, and choose how you want to pay.
We'll help you check your insurance coverage, confirm HSA/FSA eligibility, and walk you through the monthly payment options available at your dentist's practice.
4. Begin treatment with your dentist
Once your aligners are ready, your dentist fits your first set in-office and checks everything's tracking as planned.
You'll also get free teeth whitening as part of your plan.
5. Stay on track, finish strong
Between visits, your dentist and specialist track your progress through the Aalto app - so anything that needs attention gets caught early.
When you finish, your dentist does your final checks and fits your retainers to hold your new smile in place.

Clear aligners require consistent wear (20-22 hours per day) to achieve the best results. Candidates should be committed to wearing their aligners as instructed and following their treatment plan, including regular remote check-ins or in-clinic visits as needed.

Does insurance cover Aalto?
Often, yes many dental insurance plans with orthodontic benefits can contribute toward clear aligner treatment.
How much you can claim depends on your plan and level of coverage. Once your treatment begins, we'll help guide you through submitting claims for eligible in-office visits.
If you don't have orthodontic coverage, Aalto is still designed to be affordable, with payment plans from around $30 a week through your local dentist's practice.
